If your mouth is swollen, we recommend warm salt water rinses and press a flannel soaked in cold water to the outside of your mouth or your cheek to ease the pain. Take some ibuprofen or paracetamol.
Then call us on 01277 62 54 56 for immediate attention.
Has a tooth been chipped or broken?
Is your tooth dislodged or is it extruded?
Has your tooth been knocked out?
Find the tooth and hold your tooth at the top of your mouth or if you can reinsert into the socket, taking care to rinse the root of your tooth if there’s dirt on it. If you can, try to put the tooth back in place facing the normal way but never force it in.
If you can’t put it back in, put the tooth in a container of either milk or slightly-salted water.
Then call us yourself on 01277 62 54 56 for immediate attention. If you can get to us within the hour, we’ll have the best chance of being able to reattach your tooth.
